vodafone

Hi
I notice that vodafone are now advertising home broadband with "UNLIMITED" for £14 and £11 for line rental with free calls - I am scared by the 18 month contract tbh.
American ISP's have to say "virtually unlimited" by law to avoid being taken to court, should happen here too I am fed up with them saying "fair useage applies" but in their FUP id doesn't say the amount they consider to be fair - yet they expect you to sign an 18 month cotract.
Is voda just a BT wholesale supplier?
