BUT! Also check out Sky on Quidco - looks like £130 cashback for ordering HD that way, and maybe £10/£15 for the broadband.

Slightly OT, and not sure if they have changed this restriction recently, but if you live in a block of flats of 6 units or more (i.e. most of them) you are barred from ordering Sky online, even if you are in a modern block with Sky points on the walls. Unfortunately that means there is no way to get Quidco cashback from them - you call them and they hand you off to a local supplier.

To the original poster - that should be an excellent line. 6.5 Mbps (for normal ADSL) and 9 Mpbs (for 21CN ADSL2+) is the highest the checker ever reports for a phone number without service already, or for any postcode, even the exchange's itself.

O2 is effectively unlimited. There are many reports of several hundred GB per month and no reports on these forums of the FUP ever being applied in this respect.

You should be able to see the progress on Quidco. It should be showing as at least "Tracked" by now. Not sure how long it takes to pay as obviously O2 aren't going to pay Quidco while you are within the 30-day getout period.

Good luck smile.

That's a hangover from the previous offer. Happens a lot. It will drop to £50 when validated IIRC.

Ahhh i see, was just wondering!

Err, i have got all my router stuff already but not received a text/email about it being activated. Is it worth me calling O2 to see if they can activate my line before the date so i can get it set up?

You should have had a text a few hours after ordering telling you the connection date, but I don't see you mention that.

If you haven't had that then ring them.

If you have had it then it isn't worth bothering. See my post in this thread.
