Leaving Tiscali New ISP req, any Idea's

[link to this post]

I have decided to leave Tiscali after a long time, now another support fault has instigated this.

I had hoped to change to a cheaper provider (MAFF, Plusnet etc...), but find that these providers have a download limit / possible throtling. And some have 18 month contracts.

I would like to pay about the same £14.67 a month, or cheaper.
Or should i pay a bit more for a better service, is this worth it???

What other providers are there i haven't thought about???

My exchange is MYBKE so no unbundling
Download usage for 3 PC's & Wii is about 5 Gb. With lots of use on youtube and iplayer, possible p2p future usage.

I await you recomendations good or bad, to help me in what i find is a difficult choice.

Until your exchange is unbundled you won't find decent cheap deals. One of the quality ISPs such as NewNet is probably as good as it gets at the moment.

Have a look at the likes of NewNet, Zen, and IDNet to get a feel for prices with a decent ISP.

Well worth having a read through the Newnet website if you don't mind paying a little more for a very good service.
One month contracts are available as well as 12 month contracts.
