Need new ISP. Need full speed ALL of the time

Currently with F2S and last few weeks have noticed my usually excellent Usenext has been reduced to almost dial up speeds. I'm not a particularly heavy downloader. I don't think I have even exceeded a download cap with any isp but what I do need is full speed within that download limit. i.e no sudden traffic shaping or port blocking.

Unfortunately I'm stuck with BT resellers here. No LLU options or anything else. I can happily get by with 30/40/50gb a month but as I say, I need full speed within that limit.

All suggestions welcomed.

Have a look at IDNet, Newnet, Vivaciti(Surfwise) or A&A. Can you get ADSL2+?

No unfortunately can't get ADSL2+ here. Which is why I need to make the best of the connection I am stuck with.

Are any of those you mentioned Entanet resellers? Only I left an Entanet reseller because of all the problems so don't really want to go back down that route.

Nope, none of them are Enta resellers, except Vivaciti, but the Surfwise product is not provided by Enta.

The nearest to Enta allowances is in fact AAISP, although the daytime is minimal. Offpeak is 100GB or you can buy more, and there is an unmetered night-time period.

I wouldn't go with Surfwise if I where you, im just leaving them due to bad ping and slow downloads thru the day.

I've used IDnet before and they where great, full speed downloads all the time and great ping times. I only left them because they where a bit more expensive than other ISPs

Didn't experience any of that. I only left as the 75GB always metered option was too restrictive.

OP should also understand that he may have exchange congestion that even the best ISP's cannot negate.

Saying that, I can heartily recommend AAISP. With large off-peak, unmetered periods and upload not counting - I wouldn't say you can get much better.....unless you're a heavy day downloader.....
