Is Tiscali any good for an ISP

as the people i live with are gettin it an getting rid of 02 broadband, as well is it any good for xbox live or the Playstaion network!

Tiscali have one of the worst reputations for providing a slow service, i'd ugently try and suggest they reconsider their choice of provider.

The recent ofcom report looked into the average speed of ADSL lines and Tiscali came out really bad.

I had a nightmare of a time with these guys some years back and judging by reviews and peoples comments they haven't changed.

As a keen gamer most the time I was connected with them, I couldn't play, due to the fact that ping times, were so high the game was unplayable.

I would avoid these.

Tiscali is slower than BT, O2, Orange, Plusnet, Sky, Talktalk, Virgin Media. smile

It is not the first report to place their speeds lower too

Well lets hope my landlord doesnt do it, but i bet he does as he just wantsa the TV package with it
