Recommend me a ISP with the following specifications:

[link to this post]

I need:

Dynamic IP
No port blocking
1 month contract
BTWholesale based IPStreammax or BT Wholesale WBC
No Traffic shaping

I dont mind if theres a FUP on their downloads but would prefer if they allow unlimited through offpeak periods.

Can anyone think of any ISP that offers the above?

I'm guessing there are none, or he specifically wants a non-LLU product.

The only one that I can think of that may do Dynamic IP are Talktalk/Eclipse/BT Broadband but I am certain (from reading these forums) they employ traffic shaping at busy times.

If you were to take away the Dynamic IP requirement, there would be many more options such as Zen, AAISP, Idnet and we could also help too.

I know you state BTWholesale based IPStreammax or BT Wholesale WBC but I would advise you to go LLU for what your after, Xilo Pro H package on the C&W network would be best.

No download restrictions, port throttling etc and great customer service for £17.24 a month, bargain.

Don't know whether they can sort you out with a dynamic IP though as their standard is a fixed IP.

Other than that, I don't really know what else to suggest.

If you don't mind buying your own router and paying an activation fee, then Xilo's Pro 16 O would be a great choice for you. It runs over C&W LLU and is incredibly good.

If you don't want to have to fork out extra for a router or activation fee, the BE is the best choice.

With that many LLU providers on your exchange it makes no sense not to go with an LLU providers.

See the stats and speedtest result in my sig to see what Be* can offer me. The ping times and throughput never fluctuate, there is never contention or traffic management, and no download limits.

The only IPStream option for you would be IDNet Business Premium at £80 a month. All other IPStream options (including ENTA.net) are Traffic Managed and / or Capped with a download allowance.

By the way, why do you state you want to be with an IPStream provider? The IPStream network is far inferior to most LLU networks, after all...
