Looking for good gaming broadband

Moving to a village that is about 4km from the exchange in a straight line, neighbours say 512k if I am lucky.

Please can anyone recommend a good ISP for me to use for our two xboxes for gaming?

Should I consider going for one of the old 512k packages?

I often watch films on the xbox, and I watch quite a bit on TV, so a decent download allowance would be good. I think I will need more than 30gb.

Plusnet pro looks pretty good but I worry 20gb will not be enough.

You are correct in thinking Plusnet Pro would be a good one for gaming, with the higher allowance Plusnet Extra not being quite as good.

I think you would probably get good gaming performance on IDNet Home Max as well. It's only a monthly contract so no big deal.
