Just joined O2 Not quite enjoying the experience yet

Got connected up yesterday...

First of all there is a big drop in speed from my last ISP. Did think going LLU would provide some benefit.

Next door on O2 and seeing 5 mbts - mine only 0.8 mbts.

Im guessing things will improve over a couple of days - maybe someone will confirm this. but there is a large gap.

At the moment cant send emails - password they sent doesnt want to work but thats another issue.

What are the stats from the ADSL router?

How to get the full stats from the O2 box.

Thanks for the reply - Found some router stats with a struggle.
Nothing about attenuation etc just uo-1,079 & down 1,960

Ironically, just set op a neighbours who has been waiting 2 years for TT broadband
and he is getting 4.5 mbts down....

Still need to know if the speed restriction is normal for a short while.

Did you do what it says in that link I gave? What you put looks like the basic stats on one of the main pages.

Sorry Roberto - my head is going around in a spin at the moment.

Ill have to re check and post. Im finding the whole o2 experience daunting
to say the least.

Fancy saying that after being with Pipex and Plusnet....

The thing is it looks as though there is something wrong, which is why we need the full stats.

O2 should be plug'n'go, not daunting at all.

Next you are going to say you used the CD though ... frown

Thanks again and yes I used the CD - First time ever....

I still cant see all the stats in the Browser Address

Will have another go tomorrow
