Which ISP for SDCWFLD

Moving to a home served by a level 1 exchange of SDCWFLD.

Currently with Orange and find their anytime broadband phone particularly useful.

Do I stick with them or is there something better that I should consider?

Any idea how much data you download in Gigabytes?

Really only active on email with large attachments and use of U Tube from time to time. I don't suppose that adds up to very much.

What's important to you? Would you want to spend as little as possible but then be at the mercy of it slowing down a bit in the evenings? Or would you prefer to spend a few more pounds to ensure it's always quick and snappy, even at 8:30 on a Sunday evening?

What time of day & day of week is your usage? EG is there very little / no usage during the 9am-6pm period Monday-Friday? Or are you likely to be on at any hour?

You could stay with Orange. That would be a BT Wholesale "White label" service now as far as the internet provision went, but if Orange have a Home Move system it could be your cheapest option.

Do you mean VOIP by "broadband phone", or just missed an "and" and meant "Anytime Phone and Broadband" bundle? I don't know how VOIP is handled under the new arrangement.

Orange did some sort of VOIP phone on their LiveBox routers; a bit like BT Home Hubs, I think.

It looks you can only get ADSL 8Mbps Max connection at your Cowfold Exchange.
