Elstead Choices

Currently with TalkTalk Business on the Elstead exchange but is costing over £31 a month. Is there a better deal out there for this congested level 1 exchange? Really require a fixed IP. In the morning an early afternoon the service is fine but tails off to 0.8 Mbps down and 01 Mbps up in the evening.

Apparently I am 891 metres from the exchange. My router reports 448000 5920000 SNR 17 LA 24.

As you are on an exchange which has no LLU options you need to consider suppliers based upon your bandwidth usage as that is the cost for the supplier on the BT Wholesale platform.

If you are able to give an indication of your monthly usage people may be able to recommend a suitable supplier.

My old up to 8 service did a steady 8128 on 1.6k of line. The snr is very high, do you get many disconnects ?
How about BT Business broadband ?
