What ISP for Market 1 Exchange?

I have moved to south wales last week and I now have a 2 bedroom house.

How ever it is situated next door to the exchange our estimated speed is between 6.5MBps / 8 Mbps.

I'm not sure what provider to go with for the lowest cost option as its a market 1 exchange and we are limited with providers. I'm looking at possibly getting 2 lines with 2 separate broadband packages with the same provider so I can bond both the lines and get 10-14Mbps speed as 8 won't be enough for what I have to do.

Any suggestions on the providers I'm going to get one Line with Plusnet how ever they want a £50 installation fee including a £30 upfront cost for the first month bill.

Activation for you as new line is not uncommon.

Exchange may be market 1 but check Sky and TalkTalk as market allocations have not changed for ages.

Will PlusNet waive the £50 fee if you take line rental from them too ?
(Or are you locked with some existing contract for line rental?)

Do you really mean to bond or would something like a load sharing router be worth considering?

(I think there was an Edimax which can handle two WAN links at about £100)... it would allow you to have different ISPs so even if one went down you'd still have a working connection...
