Nope. Sky should be regarded as entirely different.
The only part that Sky really share is the exchange to the green fibre cabinet.
At the exchange Sky use their own network that they use for LLU.
So Sky deliver the service via their own networks, own backhaul etc.
Plusnet is similar to BT though.
This is why when people on standard Sky ADSL claim that the sky network is slowing them down I usually have to do some digging, as ultimately if it's handling 8Mb/s download speeds to fibre users it's hardly going to struggle with somebody on 3Mbps ADSL at 300Kb/s. If it did those on Fibre would be really peed off.
As for Sky fibre I have the 80Mbps package and I get a good 9Mb/s download speed. I also have BT infinity via work and that's not too bad either. The HomeHub is a bit iffy though and sometimes things buffer (even though it's my exclusive connection) which I don't see on the sky connection with 6 users.
