Im in a Market A area, where the only option is ADSL Max. As I work from home I need the best upload speed I can get, so I need ADSL Max Premium. I also need a static IP address. I dont really care whether it is a business or domestic service (there isnt much difference for ADSL Max, but some ISPs only offer Premium on business tariffs).
My requirements are basically:
- ADSL Max Premium
- Static IP
- Unlimited (or a minimum of 100GB a month during working hours)
- I dont need any inclusive calls
Ive been looking around and so far have the following possible providers that meet these requirements with monthly costs:
Plusnet £38.32 (Im currently with Plusnet)
idnet £39.50
BT Business £41.28 (but only a 24 month contract available)
Pulse8 £51.00
Aquiss £55.20
Uno £59.98 (broadband and phone as separate packages)
Zen £90.00 (this is for a "discontinued" business offering that could be resurrected for me)
John Lewis Broadband dont offer ADSL Max Premium but otherwise are the cheapest
Post Office don't offer Premium
EE don't offer Premium
Origin claimed they would provide 15Mb down, 1-2Mb up, and were rude when I suggested it wasnt possible (the chap I spoke to has ADSL Max at home so knows hes right)
There is no service available in my area from:
- AAISP
- Sky
- TalkTalk (or any of their resellers)
- Virgin Media
- Vodafone
Are there any other ISPs I should look at?
