BT quietly removed all 12 month contracts?!

Have I missed something / announcement but I can't seem to find any 12 month contract deals for BT?!

Can't remember when but yes products shifted to 18 month contracts ages ago.
Other providers flip between 12 or 18 month contracts depending on the offer.

I thought the government was going to ban long contracts for broadband a few years back, seems like nothing came of it.
18 months is far too long.

"Domestic" contracts are limited to a maximum of 24 months. Ofcom banned three year phone and broadband contracts in May(?) 2011.
