Cheap FTTC ISP - Own router + static IP

[link to this post]

Hi All

I'm looking to get a backup internet connection fitted, my primary is with Virgin. But I'm looking for one that has a Router with bridge-mode or allow me to use my own router that I will put into bridge mode (I run a PA Firewall, perk of my job). A bonus if they offer a static IP or IPv6...

Historically, I've always used Zen, but their pricing is £30-35pm, and the wife is trying to limit me to £20-25, and given it seems this is a "stars have aligned moment" (She agrees, additional FTTC capacity got added this week), I don't want to spend weeks arguing!

Does anybody have any suggestions?

UPDATE: Vodaphone is looking the most appealing at the moment.

UPDATE: I've ordered Vodaphone, as they offer the faster FTTC product for £25, also posts from other customers indicate they have been able to easily use their own routers, and furthermore, they seem to be rolling out IPv6.

But Vodafone don't offer a static IP. Unless you've gone for their Business offering?

You could have gone with Plusnet, whom can do you a static IPv4 for a one time payment of £5, and you keep the IP address for the life of the contract.

Yes they do, you just have to ask for it and its free even on their residential plans.
