They look to be a regional (Scottish Borders) fixed wireless operator that have very recently branched out into providing local FTTP (their own network, rather then using a wholesale network like Openreach). So what is known as an AltNet (alternative network) basically.

Info is a bit thin on the ground, but judging by the speeds on offer it looks to be a straight GPON network and from the Facebook pics they appear to be using Openreach ducts and poles for their physical access (PIA).

Sounds a bit like the time before I got FTTP install. Everywhere was saying not available. Along comes a local company saying they were installing in the village, and a month later I went live. They might use the existing ducts and poles but probably some 3rd party network, not necessarily BT/OR, to connect to the internet. For instance, my ISP uses TalkTalk business at the moment. If the price is ok I would go for it.

My address is part of the R100 rollout, FTTP is due Jun 2022 but their website http://www.gofibre.co.uk/ is offering me full fibre now which is impossible. They also have a R100 page which correctly has my address as part of R100 so looks like they have incorrectly merged the R100 database into their live database and offering FTTP to R100 addresses prematurely.

It's certainly possible they can provide it if their network is nearby, so if they're offering it and you want it, then place an order. What's the worst that can happen?

Aside: I believe that some small altnets do demand-based and voucher-based builds. That is: they wait for orders, quote you a £1,500+ installation fee (or whatever amount happens to be the same as the voucher level available in your area), and then show you how to apply for government vouchers to cover the cost. Essentially they are vehicles for extracting government grant money.

I have no idea if the company in question here is one of those.
