John lewis ISP info

Hi All,
wonder if any one can answer a few questions about John Lewis isp
1. they are run by PlusNet plc , has anyone changed to john Lewis from PlusNet then gone back to PlusNet after 12 -18 months as a new customer to get their cashback offers? or as its plusnet plc your still actually a plusnet customer so cant go to john lewis and get any deals they run?
2. currently john Lewis are offering a cashback credit card does anyone know if this can be used for payment against monthly payments for john Lewis isp ?
3. looking at changing from PlusNet as their best special offer to keep me as a customer is £24.99 a month for fibre with these cashback offers on, im thinking its going to be cheaper for me to leave PlusNet go to john Lewis on a 12 month contract with cashback card taken into account works out about just under £20 for fibre and phone line a month, then after 12 months possible jump back to plus net as a new customer then get a cashback deal.
or is there any other deals about at the moment? im currently searching through all the bb comparison sites, any help greatly received :

I'm currently on JohnLewis, but I've not done any of the switching you're talking about so cannot comment on that really.
I would say that they are billed as separate companies, so I would assume you would be a "new" customer.

As for deals, have you looked at HotUKDeals? I see a lot of broadband deals come up there, e.g.

Yes it's TalkTalk, but it is fairy cheap

Had John Lewis ADSL at one point as they didn''t surcharge for the exchange. When it came for renewal , PlusNet no longer imposed the surcharge, and so were cheaper. It confused their systems, so the migration wasn't entirely smooth, but it happened.
