Low Volume

[link to this post]

I have a Samsung R40 running Vista, all sound is up full but Youtube videos are very low.

Mp3s seem to play alot louder so i know the speakers are capable of more than i am hearing.

Any idea's please.

In control panel have you got your speakers setup properly ie not set to headphones etc?

Also in volume there are often several settings for volume, master volume, wave, synth etc whack them all up to full if theyre not (you might to to select advanced to see them)

its not set to headphone and all those settings you mentioned are up full.

Could it be a codec problem?
