Deleted Picture Viewer JSAC PAint Shop

[link to this post]

Ok - now you'd expect a deleted program to disappear off the system and once the registry has been cleaned, it should have gone forever.... Oh no!

JSAC Paintshop keeps making itself the default picture viewer, plus it appears in the registry as a broken link - so it should have vanished. So how come a file that is not anywhere on the PC suddenly decide it is the default picture viewer? (Program was removed nearly 18mth ago & search c: finds nothing).

Already use CCleaner and Registry mechanic, they both find it. It always gets deleted and yet still re appears (as do other deleted registry entries).

Have you tried "right click->open with" on a picture which it opens, and specifying a different program association for pictures of that type?
