Redirect Loop

In Firefox 3.0.10 I get an error message;

Redirect Loop

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.
The browser has stopped trying to retrieve the requested item. The site is redirecting the request in a way that will never complete.

* Have you disabled or blocked cookies required by this site?
* NOTE: If accepting the site's cookies does not resolve the problem, it is likely a server configuration issue and not your computer.

Whilst attempting to visit http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/ yet the site works OK using IE7

I am running the same version of FF and the site works fine.. Personally I think FF is just getting it's knickers in a knot as I have had this issue with GMail and FF before..

It's not just you --- laptops direct has done it for me (and others I know) for as long as I can remember, at least 2 years. As you say when you visit the site in Internet Explorer, it is fine.

The nerdy web developer type people on here will tell you it's sloppy web coding, personally I think it is more on firefox's end.

Indeed, yet no doubt someone on here will come on now and say firefox renders 100% perfect and so on and forth. If this so-called "redirect loop" does exist then why isn't it doing it in IE I wonder.

I would have thought however that laptopsdirect would have sorted the issue out as it is potentially costing thousands in business of people who don't think to try IE or another browser, and assume firefox is telling the gospel truth.
