Hello, I use Outlook 2003 for emails. The computer is personal (no domains/servers or anything) and runs XP SP3.
When receiving emails from friends, I quite often receive attachments of jpegs of trhe family and so on. I used to be able to simply double click the attachments in the email and they would open the photos and I could view them. This no longer works. I now need to download the attachments then open them to view. I get a message about no program installed or something so I'm thinking there must be a way to set the default program that Outlook uses to open Jpegs. I know that once saved I can riught click and change properties on the individual files themselves but I have no idea how to set a policy that Outlook will use. I hope you understand what I mean.
Does anyone know of a setting somewhere that i need to amend that will allow me to open attachements from within the email.
Many thanks
