Will I be able to duel boot win7 with vista when opting for a win7 upgrade option of my vista upgrade install which is not duel booted a the moment?

upgrade = upgrade your current Os...so no!
you can dual boot vista and 7 ...but 7 needs to be a 'clean installation'.

But given that its an upgrade disc it needs to see the vista instal first - can it then go on to install as duel boot?

I can't stand them, I sometimes revert to "audio" version, that way I just type it in as it reads it out, total farce really............
