Personally, I'd rather amputate my own leg than deal with DSG Retail.

You may find this useful wink

Not dealt with Dixons Group for years but did buy from them in 1957, by mail order, when they were above a shop in Edgware.

Personally I've taken up Toshiba's Win7 offer which they say will come by DHL

I also bought a Dell laptop and registered for an upgrade. But I never been notified of the delivery arrangement. I had to contact them and pay £15, and still have no idea when it will be delivered if at all.

My copy was delivered by DHL and was just put through the letter box even though we should have signed for it

They've sorted this for me, nearly.

They first said they will despatch replacement items and make a claim for the original consigment direct with Royal Mail themselves. This process is handled by PC World head office.

Only somebody put only 1 copy up for redelivery when it should have been 2 copies as per the original pre order.

Recieved 1 copy shipped via DHL on Friday and after a few phonecalls about the second copy, looks like I'll recieve it tomorrow, again via DHL.

Well I'm not very impressed with DHL crazy. The first copy arrived no probs. The second copy arrived on the day it was supposed to, but the box (Windows 7 outer box) was crushed. Opened it up the plastic case was smashed into 3 pieces, it's a miracle the DVD's weren't damaged.

Rang PC World customer services, they've offered to replace it. I think I'll take the offer.

I have to say that, against the expectations of many, you should be impressed by PC World. They seem to have done everything you could expect of them.

Edit: Meant to reply to your susequent post. Never mind.
