OK, I just have to share this tip if you are using MC to watch AVI and other files in Win7 on a TV.

You may find that stuff looks washed out and blurred compared to almost any other other media player unless you insert the following keys to the registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Debug\ehPresenter.dll]
"NominalRange"=dword:1

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Debug\ehPresenter.dll]
"BoundByNativeSize"=dword:0

If, like me you have been battling with washed out colour and general fuzziness you should find the problem solved.

Does this work for WMP as well??

I am using Win7 Media Player 12 as a DLNA server to my TV and it works really well (apart from the blockiness on older rips as there is no upscale)..
