Win7/Vista Gadgets...

Any of you guys use gadgets?

I didn't really use them in Vista, because they seemed to slow the system down, but in W7, there's no slow down so life is good and I've got two running currently.

The weather one! but more importantly - one to check pop3/imap accounts for mail.

I had to install 3 or 4 until I finally settled on this one - which is the best of the lot.

It's called the:

What are your favourite ones?

I use them used them in both vista and 7 never reli made a diff in speed wi vista tho ive got 8 alltogether 2x clock 1 UK 1 USA, calendar, CPU meter, Weather, currency meter GBP to USD, bandwith meter to see the speed wen downloadind/uploading and then a media center one that was installed wen i sined into sky player in media center.

I never used them in Vista until I got a wide screen monitor..

Currently on Win7, I use 3 different types, but 7 in total..

O&O DiskStat - I have 4 of them (1 for each disk).. They used to show the disk temps (which is why I used them in Vista), but they don't in 7 (and yet I still have them)..

1 word of warning about the O&O units: When the disk is intensively busy, they start to eat CPU for some reason..

I'm dual screening here! Couldn;t live without an additional screen! Nice to be able to drag apps out the way into the other monitor and still be able to them.
