Windows 7 Easy Transfer Upgrade

[link to this post]

Hello, I have a laptop with 3 users on it. It runs XP home and Office 2003 Outlook. This laptop is past it and has been for some time, but I kept soldiering on. Finally the day came......

I now have a nice new laptop running Windows 7. My question is, what is the best way to get the data for all three usernames onto the new machine? If I run easy transfer, will it pick up everything and do it all automatically, by this I mean all three user accounts docs, photos, music and outlook stores? Or is it not quite as easy as that?

Many thanks for any advice.

Hiya,
When I had to transfer my stuff from 1 PC to another PC with Win 7 I used the windows easy transfer cable. It was simple to use and took no time at all

Yes, the easy transfer wizard will pick everything up, just so long as the data (pics and music) is stored in the users documents area and not elsewhere.
