Firefox 3.6.16 Bookmarks toolbar icon logos

The logos on my bookmark toolbar icons disappear everytime I close Firefox, when I open it again they are just blank icons until I click on them and go to the website.
Any ideas how I can keep the logos on the icons permanently please.
