laptop pointer colour

How can I change the colour of my laptop pointer( win7). I have difficulty locating it. I can access the personalize option, but there is no option to change the pointer colour to black for instance. Any ideas please.

If you use Windows 7 (or possibly XP) then

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Ease of Access Center\Make the mouse easier to use

offers black or white or patterened various size of mouse pointers.

"Make the mouse easier to use" is about the 5th choice down on the" Ease of Access centre" screen
