Weird, have seen this on very rare occasions. Usually it is when the computer has installed updates but has not been restarted since. Try a few manual restarts and it should go away.
In terms of this causing future problems it shouldn't do as the Windows Update service performs a sophisticated enumeration of the current state of the OS to determine whether updates are required, so as long as it doesn't continue to do this going forward you should be OK.
If in doubt run an sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt.
