Live mail question

I have set my web Outlook to download my Microsoft email but also one of my other email accounts. My questions concern the latter.
Is it possible to import other folders in addition to my Inbox?
The other email account shows new Inbox items as Read, even though I haven't. They have been downloaded into Outlook and this causes them to lose their Unread status in the first account. Is that normal?

I do that and do not get the Unread/Read problem. Which other account(s) are affected?

I pull down 4-5 different accounts to the same Inbox and do not get that.

These webmails, like Outlook.com, pull msgs in from other email accounts using POP3 access. POP3 can only see the Inbox of them.
