I am using a MS wireless mouse, which functions perfectly on Win 7.

I keep receiving the following update message.

This update always fails to install.

Code 80070103 Windows update encountered an unknown error

How can I prevent this update from re appearing?

What I would just do is right click the available update and hide it so that it doesn't attempt to install in the future. Tbh that particular Windows Update is a pain in the [censored] as it installs useless utilities which use system resources.

Tried hiding it, but keeps on re appearing.

Ignoring it is the only way.
