I have posted a few times how preventing password managers work on web pages is a false security measure, and actually can make things worse because it forces people to type in passwords which can be logged with a keylogger and it encourages simple weak passwords to be used, now firefox38 overides the web developer and will no longer support the function for username/password fields.
