New Works Laptop ,Can not get past login screen errors

Girlfriend has a Macbook Air for work and now has a Thinkpad running Windows 7 Enterprise.

However we can not even get past the login screen with her user name and password.

Keeps saying......There are currently no login servers available to service the login request.

Its doing our head in .

Any idea anybody.

Has she ever logged on to this laptop at work? If so it should have cached her credentials (unless it has been configured not to) and not present this error. But it needs to authenticate with a Domain Controller at least the once.

Ultimately she needs to talk to her IT support staff.

No cached credentials. Try dialling the VPN connection (if it has one), if not, then it will be because the laptop has not been logged onto at work and thus, you're gonna need to take it back to the corporate IT team to sort out.
