Update kills windows live mail

Update for Windows Live Essentials Mail 2012 (KB3093594) kills WLM.

Dont know if many have had the email from MS asking you to patch your WLM, with the above numbered patch from MS Download centre as MS is changing the way the MS servers process MS email addresses so WLM wont work with these without the patch.

If you apply the patch when WLM tries to update the calendar it crashes with the new patch applied.

Workarounds:
Dont apply the patch until email stops working.

or

Dont sign in to update calendar on the tool bar at the top right sign out and click forget me on the sign in box.

This means your calendar will no longer be synced with outlook or wait for MS to patch the patch.

This has been a problem before after a quick google, but the MS fixit doesnt work with the new version.

Just a heads up.

The patch has now been updated to fix the crash in WLM. Dated December 17.
