I use my hotmail account to login to my machine and activation but its an hotmail address that contains my nickname banger in it, which is rather restricting when sending official emails. Any way to change the email address without losing my windows 10 activation etc?
You used to be able to have more than one. Have they stopped that?

Found it you can create an account, add it to the original account as an alias then make primary. I have a gmail account with my full name. Just emailing my solicitor with a banger name isnt very appropriate.
Is there no way you can separate your activation from your hotmail account? i do not have a MS account myself, I have no need for one.
you could get a second email address, Gmail, GMX, both offers free email or you could pay for a domain and email address for a few quid a year, from one and one.
