bbc radio player

When listening to BBC radio live using Radio Player, reception always freezes after exactly one hour. I am using windows 8.1 on my pavilion PC.
Same result on IE and Google Chrome.
Have tried forcing Radio Player to use Flashplayer and HTML5 but both are the same.
I don't have any trouble when listening to the same programme on i-player catch-up.

I have also had that while listening to TMS using the BBC Sport app (which lets you timeshift playback) on my tablet. Wake the tablet up and it resumes.
