has anybody got this issue

I just had several windows updates, as a result the Edge browser would not work/load. So restored to three days ago. Edge worked OK. However I updated windows , then Edge would not work. Obviously these updates are causing the problems. I am now going to restore again, but avoid the updates. Anybody has similar experience.

Just checked and am writing this from Edge with all updates installed on 64 bit Windows 10 Pro version. Also I have updated with the Creators Update not sure what version of Windows you are on but no problems loading Edge.

I believe it was a security update in the last round of updates have you searched google for the problem and a fix or Tenforums.com

I have the latest version of windows 10(creator). I decided to update again( foolishly). So now I cannot load Edge!! I have not installed any apps for ages, so it is annoying. Meanwhile I am using chrome on my desktop. I have no problem with Edge on my laptop, touch wood.

A reset may be the way to go of Edge but make a restore point or backup before doing an Edge reset.

Hi, I have gone back to a previous system restore point. Edge is working. When Edge was faulty, I get the following on the browser top left: "search or enter home page", then after few seconds the window disappear, it would not allow me to enter an address. The question now is how to keep my machine up to date without upsetting "Edge"

It is me again. I tried to update windows and Edge went wrong again. I have given up on Edge. I shall use Chrome from now on my desktop. I can still use Edge on my laptop. I repeat I have not added any apps or programs, I just brows the net.

I have contacted Microsoft about this issue. Apparently they are aware about this issue. They claim that a solution is under way, and meanwhile I can use IE !!!

Edge working fine here on Win10 1703.

Edge (Version 40.15063.0.0) also working fine with my Windows 10 Version 1703.
