The SDA formatter creates exFAT rather than FAT32 ... and no option to change.

Perhaps boot with a "Live Linux distro" and format from there.

Hmm. Maybe try formatting as exFAT then to FAT32 with - https://www.easeus.com/partition-master/convert-exfa...

In Android Play Store there are a load of apps to Format/Repair/Clean SD cards.
