proxy issues

Hello, maybe someone can help?
I've used Applian recording software (Replay Media catcher) for years with no issue.
Each time I try to use it now, it alters my proxy settings.
I reset the settings, and Applian works.
Any thoughts?
Windows 10 pro
Dell 7010
1TB HDD
16GB DDR3 memory
BT Halo Unlimited (no problems with any other internet related situation).

Applian advised me to "reset" - this I did, with no change.
