Thunderbird again

[link to this post]

I am getting emails to my outlook.com address saying I will lose access to third party apps from MSFT like Thunderbird. How do I make the account compatible with MS servers before September. Currently Thunderbird picked UserName and Password for IMAP access. Do I change to Oauth2 for compatibility?

Thanks for that, seems Oauth2 is the way to go.
