Looking for a new ISP

[link to this post]

Hi there,

I'm looking for a decent ISP to migrate to and Zen has caught my attention. I like the look of their Zen 250 package (speed is not important to me) with unlimited usage.

All I really want to know is this:

Is the Customer Service of Zen any good? I've had enough of NDO since Namesco bought them over. It's Zen or IDNET so I would just like to know about their CS.

thanks in advance for any insights given.

Thanks for that Sean.

Can anyone enlighten me further. Would the Zen 250 package be ok to use when I play the occassional on-line war in Zero Hour?

cheers

Hello DJS. Yep, Zen are superb in all depts. Been with them for almost 3 years now and have my site hosted with them as well. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff if you need to call them. No long waiting times, phones answered pretty quick and through to the right person who can help or advise without passing you on.

I phoned this morning to see why a .php file would not work and they checked my site out, spotted my mistake immediately as uploading it as a text file and instructed me how to alter it.

Put a neighbour of mine on the 250k service early last year and it worked perfect with no limits or silly restrictions. As a basic internet connection for surfing and mailing its just the job, downloads take a little longer because of its speed, I don't think you can go wrong. If you migrate today, you could be with Zen by tomorrow with a bit of luck, if not, then Monday.

My advice is go for it, you will not be disappointed.

Hi Sean,

In order for our automated system to allow migrations from the old engineer installed products, all migration lead times have been set to 3 working days once they have been accepted by BT. Therefore it's likely to be the beginning of next week when you move over.

Yes, But you are unlike other providers. They say 5 to 10 days and take 3 to 5 weeks! You say 3 days and take 3 minutes.

Why do you seem hell bent in your efforts to goad 'Seansmit17' ???

I can't help but notice your repeated, silly and childish remarks....every time his name pops up in a thread predictably so does yours....not to contribute in any meaningful way but rather to attack him.

You're a sad little man aren't you
