Zen and "refer a friend"

[link to this post]

I'm in the process of talking a colleague into migrating to Zen. He is currently with Pipex and wants out and seeing as a 20GB cap would be more than enough for him Zen look favourite (esp. with the billing I gave tech support and CS).

I have warned him what ADSL Max is like in general and, from reading around, Zen appear no better or worse in terms of service there than anyone else. As I'd expect seeing as its the same shoddy service from BT wherever you go.

I was wondering if Zen has a "refer a friend" scheme that I know some ISPs do. I did have a bit of a look at their website and couldn;t see anything and wondered if anyone here could provide a definitive answer?

You mean, you'd recommend zen's MAX service to your friend if zen gave you an incentive?

Do you like your friend much?

I said "colleague" not "friend". The schemes thought are usually "refer-a-friend". And I've already done the recommendation. Just wondered if I might get something for it.

And it was Zen as an ISP I recommended, not Max. I don;t think I'd recommend ADSLMax to any of my enemies in its current state let alone friends or colleagues.

If Zen still had fixed speed lines on offer (I'm ignoring Zen250) I'd be recommending he went for that.

Hello Coin, no Zen don't offer this, but they are good enough that you should willingly pay Zen

and thank god they dont do referrals! if they did then this board would start getting as biased as Plusnets board where you couldnt trust the advice of some posters anymore, i.e. they would never criticise anything for fear of losing referrals. Zen doesnt need them their products and quality of service speak for themselves. I had a colleague who once tried to recommend me a gas and electricity company and found out he was after referrals, I told him to his face what a low life he was
