Ex Nildram, new to Zen

[link to this post]

Hi,

I have now been on Zen for 5 days, and all's well. I am one of many people leaving Nildram due to their introduction of traffic shaping/throttling. I was with Nildram for 4 years so am looking forward to a long and happy relationship with Zen.

Welcome aboard. I'm an Nildram refugee of over 4 years myself.

Been with Zen for a week or two now, and everything is sailing smoothly.

Welcome to (relative) sanity I was one of the more vocal people who spoke out when Zen introduced hard capping, but with hindsight I can see it was the only way to go. Much better than than shaping and throttling, IMHO. Then again, I'm on legacy uncapped - I'd probably still be moaning if I was on Max

Welcome!

Moved from Nildram a few months ago for the same reason, who denied any form of shaping. Don't know if they still do.

My Zen connection is of course unshaped and peaks at 820K/s, very pleased

Thanks chaps.
At least the mood is better over here. Five minutes on Nildram's forum was a recipe for depression.
