Hi all, i could really go for some suggestions right now.
Heres the scenario, For the past couple of months my connection keeps dropping whenever the phone rings in the house. I have been with zen for over 12 months and different isp's before that and have never had a problem till now.
I started a thread about this a while back and thought that the problem had been resolved, but sadly not.
The virtual paths at the BT exchange are currently at 'RED' status. Nothing has changed in the house, no new phones, no new phones lines etc...
Things I have tried:
New Microfilters throughout.
Disconnected all phones and connected just one standard one at the master socket.
Tried using a second different ADSL modem router.
Contacted BT to check the line, they report no fault found.
Disconnected the 'bell' wire from the socket which my modem is connected to eliminate the possibility of noise.
Are there any checks that can be done at Zen's end? Its driving me nuts because the connection is unreliable.
Any suggestions appreciated.
