Since sometime yesterday (or possibly Friday) I've been getting dial-up download speeds. Around 27.00 Kbps on the adslguide speedchecker (http://www.thinkbroadband.com/speedtest/results/id/11820699963471934032.html)
I've checked it's not my PC as it's the same on all PCs on my home network. I've rebooted the router a few times. Made no difference. My normal up/down is 256 Kbps up and down so not fast but obviously 10 times faster than today. My router config pages confirm I am connected at this speed. My SNR margin is 21 and Loop Attenuation 48.5. I have eliminated the possibility of it being something else on my local network by turning of wi-fi and disconnecting all devices (bar one to check the speed on).
I don't really know what to do as this has never happened to me before. Has anyone got a checklist of things to try? All I can think of is to phone Zen on Monday. I can't really spend time searching these forums or elsewhere as my speed is too slow to make the Internet usable. As well as slow speeds, I get timeouts and downloads seem to get stuck (e.g. AVG updates)
Thanks in advance.
