after Nildram

I was with Nildram for 5 years after having suffered Tiscali. This was the perfect isp for a gamer, very low pings etc. With the treat of Tiscali takin over Nilly I migrated to Zen.
My points,
No more disconnections in the middle of matches during the evening.
Pings are about 20 higher, and yes I am on fast mode.
A very stable adsl, I am 3.3 km from my exchange and get a download of over 4.5 and sometimes over 7.5 depending on the server.
Nilly gives 50gb download for the same price, if not used you can carry it over. I usually never go above 10 but the 20 limit with zen and no carry over seems a bit unfair. If I pay for 20 a month and don't use it in one month then it should be carried over for a month, and if not used then lost.
If Tiscali or BT ever considered a takeover of Zen then I would move on again otherwise I am a happy Zen customer.

Zen offer the most sustainable packages around. Starting to oversell more/carry bandwidth over is of no benefit to you or the rest of us. Just gives people the opportunity to clog up the network like almost every other ISP out there right now

Same as me then, years with Nilly and then they went down the pan like a rocket. So far, Zen have been stable and consistent, and that is all I want.

I left zen for BT

I too am a gamer and believe it or my gaming experience with BT has be amazing ?

Low pings sometime as low a 5 never above 30 to UK servers, I'm shocked.

I was with Tiscali, and I left them for Pipex.
I just hope and pray that [censored] ISP's are not following me around.

Very, very happy with Zen, at the moment.

At least you weren't with plusnet during their most troubled years I guess alot of us here have a rather long ISP history.

It seems not everyone shares your views nor your experience of BT....

I was with BT (Openworld then Yahoo) for 5 years on ADSL (pre MAX) never had a problem with the service at all, low latency etc, best connection I ever had. Had to use support about twice in that time.

Can't comment if things have deteriorated post MAX.
