MAC Code

[link to this post]

Hey,

Do Zen process MAC requests at the weekend? Is it quicker to request a MAC online or over the phone? I guess they both have to be sent via e-mail?

Cheers.

From what I have read, they are processed by Customer services over the phone. They are in Mon-Fri 9-5.

I believe you can request a cancellation/migration (and get a MAC code) in the customer portal which may give you one over the weekend, but as I'm happy with my service, I'm not going to test it out

You have to give Zen 14 days notice anyway. So either way you will not be able to use it until the 29th!

He can use it as soon as he gets it.

Up to him if he decides to migrate before the end of the notice period, just means he'll be paying for both services for a few days.

It's 30 days notice now.

Zen got tired of missing out on the popular industry-wide method of screwing the customer

Doing it online takes quite a long time for it to be generated.

Also watch your bills when you leave Zen; they tried to charge me twice for the last month when they should actually have been giving me a refund.

Hmm when I left, Zen gave me my MAC quickly and refunded me for unused days without me even asking, very professional company. I was impressed.
Guess they can't be perfect all the time though!.

When I rang them to point out the error the woman on the phone accepted that quickly enough. But then tried to hang up without agreeing to pay back the money they owed.
