Wow

Blimey, I have just escaped the mess that was Bulldog and am actually happy with an ISP !

I got my line returned to BT without a hitch on Friday 13th July (before Bulldog cut me off and lost my number for me), ordered Zen 8Mbps 50GB service on Tuesday 17th July (nice smooth online order process) and was given an activation date of Tuesday July 24th.

Today I decided to prep my router with the authentication details ready for next week - lo and behold an active ADSL connection immediately !

Zen and BT working in harmony or just good luck ?

Whichever - long may it last !

I hope your right.

So far so good - such a contrast with the sign up and provisioning process provided by Bulldog last year.

I'm eager to see what the connection speed 'trains' down to - can anyone remind me what the training period is (was it 10 days or so) ?

I used to get a reasonable 7Mbps from Bulldog, I'll be pleased with anything above 6 or so.

'Be' are scheduled to LLU my exchange (Horsham) at the end of August (after two previous delays). I do fancy up to 24Mbps so we'll see how Zen go.
