Will it be the last time though? So far, trials of alternatives paint a mixed view, but Zen are going to have to pull something out of the bag soon.

For the prices that Zen charge, why should they be anywhere else ?

Now that the economy is in a severe downturn, I fear that not many outside of the business community will be able to afford Zen's prices, with soaring fuel and food costs.

With all due respect, we did not win the award for being the cheapest ISP. We won the award for being the best and that was voted by the consumer, not by others in the industry.

Over time products will need to be changed and upgraded, and the first part of this process has started, however i personally don't feel that by pulling something out of nothing, is going to gain us any more than what we have. I personally feel it is now time to move forward with our customers and let them know we do listen and we thank them for the years of loyal service, and in some case only months or days of loyal service.

This is something management are looking into and definitely something i have spoken about before to Gary and others in the company.

Yes we were very proud to have won this award for a number of reasons but not least because this is the consumer industry telling us from feedback they have received from customers that what we provide in the broadband industry is good quality products and service.

I was fortunate to have attended the awards yesterday amongst some high profile brands and business leaders. many of those I spoke to told me that they were pleased we won the award in this category.

We scored top marks among Which? members for connection speed, customer service, online and telephone support and were the only ISP on test to get top marks for reliability of connection.

Yesterday was fantastic and getting this award was brilliant for all of our staff who work hard every day to try and deliver a good service. That was yesterday and today I'm back at my desk it is business as usual as we continue on to deliver the best ISP service in the UK.

Regards
Gary

And, with all due respect, I wouldn't let your heads get too big over this award - Which? represents about 1% of the population, mainly comprised of people who can afford to spend 93 a year on a magazine to find out what the rest of us do, using Google and the internet !

Don't be so negative...an award is an award....Which? have a very good reputation in the consumer guidance arena and regardless of the size of their membership, an award from them can and should be considered to be fairly prestigious.

Incidentally, Which? provide their members with more than just product recommendations, they also provide consumer/legal advice and support. Does Google also provide that sort of service?
