SPF Records and Zen

[link to this post]

Are Zen supporting SPF records (if so what are they), personally I don't believe in them but my domain host 123-reg is insisting on them, as some valid email are being blocked. And there being as helpful as they usually are!!!!!!!

I don't like 123-reg and would leave them in a breath if there was somebody more suitable who charged reasonable amounts and have unlimited email addresses forwarding.

What about Google Apps?

http://www.google.com/apps/intl/en/business/editions.html

The Standard version is free and allows up to 200 accounts and unlimited aliases (AFAIK)

You can have your domain hosted with 123, but your e-mail handled by Google Apps. This is how I have one of my domains set-up, works perfectly.

I think you have missed the issue.
The email Hosting is working well.
The issue is 123-reg. They act as the email host for my domain and then forward the emaills on to my account as my ISPs.
The 123-reg email servers have anti spam s/w which i cant disable , and some valid email are being blocked by 123-reg

The same issue would occur if i used google

Is that what you were looking for?

Why?

I am trying to use 123-reg for domain hosting (but disabling their anti Spam, which in my view is the issue.
There is no issue with the pop accounts its 123-reg causing the issues in my view. How would Google apps help here ???

I would migrate the domains to Zen but 24.99 per year compared to 2.59( iirc) is a very large gap. I dont mind paying more for a better service, but approx ten times is a little excessive

In that case, maybe it's worth contacting 123-reg support to assist with your issues?
